Mitch - The Drunken Moogle

Tonight my wife and I will start playing Final Fantasy VI (III in the US). She doesn’t know it yet, but that’s what we’re going to do! As of now she’s only watched me play a few of the newer FF games, so I’m quite excited to see what she thinks about it. FF6 is my favorite in the series (only slightly ahead of FF4 and FF7) and I can’t wait to revisit the world and characters.  I downloaded it on the Wii’s Virtual Console and we’ll be playing it on an SDTV to make the experience as close to what it was like when I played it for the first time as a kid. The last time I played it was the GBA remake about six years ago. It will be interested to go back to the original translation and see terms like GP, instead of Gil.
